Where houses sold the slowest: Boston’s Seaport, at 96 days on market

Lowest median list price: Lynn (also in September 2019)

Highest median list price: Boston’s Back Bay (one property listed at $6.9mil)

Lowest $/square foot: Mattapan at $201 per square foot

Highest $/square foot: Boston’s Back Bay (just one property at $1,914/sq. ft.)

Largest (positive) change in price from list to sale: Cambridge (02142), 7%

Largest (negative) change in price from list to sale: that same Boston Back Bay property, which was listed at $6.9mil and sold for $5.9mil

Where did the most homes sell in the Greater Boston area in October 2019? Peabody (01960), where 70 homes sold in October 2019.
