Prices up, time on market consistent in June 2018 — Boston Real Estate Trends

New month, new market report from Torii. The median number of days that Boston-area houses stayed on the market held steady at 19. During the same period, median sale price went up from $598,444 in May to $625,000, an increase of 4.4%.

Somerville is heating up, with buyers paying a much higher premium than last month.

There were 20 zip codes in the area where buyers paid a median of at least 5% more than sellers were asking. Somerville (02144) topped the list at a 9% premium, and Dover (02030) was lowest with buyers paying 4% less than asking.

Most sales in a zip code goes to Salem (01970) with 77. South Boston (02127) was a close second at 76.
